Super Glue Anxiety was a Finnish band that performed experimental alternative rock, merging genres like ska, funk, metal, and punk.
The band prided itself on its limitless creativity. As their singer Juha Kraapo once said, “What was fun about this band was that you could do anything. The only limit was your imagination. There were no border fences.”
The project began with Kraapo’s interest in bands like Mr. Bungle and Madness. Guitarist Sami Räikkönen, a ska punk fan, was eager to join. Both Kraapo and Räikkönen were also members of Black Dreams, a band known for its melancholic metal.
Their single, Celtic Jazz, told a playful story of a druidess frolicking in the Highlands, trying to enter a witches’ competition.
The single was available on music platforms, accompanied by a lyric video.
