German death/thrash metal outfit Susurro has unveiled their latest release, SUSURRO (LIVE AT CZ). Recorded on July 14, 2023, during their electrifying set at the Masters of Rock festival in Vizovice, Czech Republic, this live album features six intense tracks that capture the band’s raw power and dynamic stage presence.
Founded in 2019 in the small village of Allmersbach near Backnang, Susurro was conceived by Jack Skaner (vocals/guitar), who enlisted Mr. Six-Ell (bass) and Winzent Walace (guitars/keyboard) to complete the lineup.
Their sound fuses traditional thrash metal with electronic elements, a blend that has cultivated a devoted fanbase since the debut album, Erratic, was released in January 2022.
Emerging from a region traditionally dominated by brass and gospel music, Susurro was born from Skaner’s desire to explore new musical territories. With extensive experience in various bands, Skaner’s vision, coupled with the enthusiasm of Winzent and Mr. Six, led to the development of their unique style.
LIVE AT CZ encapsulates the high-energy performance that Susurro is known for, showcasing their technical skill and powerful stage presence. The album highlights their ability to blend aggressive thrash riffs with subtle blues influences, reflecting their versatility and mastery of their craft.
