Emerging pop sensation Colby! captured the spotlight with the release of her debut EP, Dead Giveaway, last Friday. The project, which includes standout tracks “Gone To Bed” and “Break Me Twice,” along with four new singles, introduced listeners to her distinct sound and undeniable talent.

“Dead Giveaway is about those moments in a relationship, whether romantic or platonic, when you realize there’s no real depth. You’re putting in the effort to keep things going, but it’s clear the other person isn’t meeting you halfway, and they’re unlikely to change. It’s about coming to terms with the fact that it’s time to part ways.”

Meet Colby!
Born and raised in Fort Worth, TX, Colby! grew up surrounded by live music and immersed herself in creative outlets like singing, writing, painting, and baking.
Diagnosed with severe dyslexia at age 8, she underwent intensive therapy to manage her learning challenges. Music and other creative arts became a refuge, inspiring her from a young age.
At 14, Colby! began writing songs with her brother and producer, RJ Johnson, a Berklee College of Music graduate. Their collaboration shaped her unique sound, characterized by raw emotion and catchy melodies.
Outside of the studio, Colby! finds joy in belting out her favorite songs while driving—an activity that mirrors the passion and energy she pours into her music.
Her dream is to continue crafting songs that listeners can scream along to, creating a cathartic escape from life’s challenges.
