From Classical to Pop, Jazz to Traditional Brazilian – A Musical Journey

Growing up in Brazil, Andrø Pop was exposed to a variety of musical genres, from classical to pop, jazz to traditional Brazilian music. He credits this eclectic mix of music for shaping his unique sound.

“I grew up influenced by every type of music, and it has allowed me to mix styles and blend genres, crafting something unique,” he explains.

Today, Andrø produces and writes pop music for artists and songwriters from all over the world.

Perfectionism: The Key to Andrø Pop’s Success

Andrø Pop is a self-proclaimed perfectionist, and it shows in his work. “There’s no ‘demos’ in my world,” he says. “Every song I make sounds like a final ‘radio-ready’ record, even if it is just a demo.”

His attention to detail and commitment to excellence sometimes irritate those around him, including his manager.

However, his manager knows that when she delivers one of his songs to a client, it will exceed expectations. “It’s those little details that really make all the difference,” Andrø Pop adds.

Crafting Unique Sounds: Blending Genres and Pushing the Sonic Envelope

Andrø Pop is always pushing the sonic envelope, mixing styles and blending genres, and crafting something unique.

His latest release, “American Girl Doll,” is a K-Pop production, but the lyrics are in English, performed by an American artist.

It’s this willingness to take risks and explore new sounds that set him apart from others in the industry.

The Sacrifice and Desire to Pursue His Dreams

While Andrø Pop’s music career has evolved over the years, it’s all he’s ever done. “Working with music is like breathing for me, it’s always been a part of me,” he says.

However, leaving his family in Brazil has been the biggest challenge of his life. “I am extremely close with my parents and sisters, and moving to a new country, and having no family nearby to lean on is incredibly difficult,” he shares.

“Family is the most important thing in my life, so to leave them to pursue my dreams proves the sacrifice and desire to be successful in my career.”

When asked about the top three people he’d like to meet to take his career to the next level, Andrø Pop didn’t hesitate to answer.

“I’d love to meet Max Martin,” he says. “He’s definitely one of the most prolific producer/songwriters of this generation.”

He’s also a huge fan of Sia and would love to produce a song for her one day.

Finally, Andrø Pop would love to meet that music publisher that is ready to make some #1 records!
