In a major moment for electronic music, multi-genre artists John Summit, Subtronics, and Tape B came together for the much-anticipated release of the track “Gas Pedal” featuring Sage The Gemini.
Premiered during John Summit’s Experts Only event at Miami Music Week 2024, where Subtronics and Tape B joined him on stage, the track blended nostalgic melodies with innovative sound design.

The original collaboration, titled “Gas Pedal,” featured officially sampled vocals from Sage The Gemini’s hit track of the same name, which once peaked at #29 on the Billboard Hot 100. Summit, Subtronics, and Tape B fused their unique styles to breathe new life into the renowned hip-hop anthem.
John Summit, known for his electrifying performances and dynamic production, had a massive impact on the global dance music scene. By 2024, Summit had amassed nearly one billion global streams and headlined major venues like BMO Stadium in Los Angeles and Madison Square Garden.
His label, Experts Only, showcased new talent while Summit continued to dominate with hits like “Where You Are” (feat. HAYLA) and his debut album Comfort In Chaos, released in July 2024.
