Nashville, TN – Leading independent music publisher Prescription Songs, in collaboration with Kobalt Music Group, is excited to announce the signing of Grammy-nominated songwriter, artist, and producer Anderson East.
Anderson joins the impressive roster of talent at Prescription Songs, brought in by the Nashville office under the leadership of Head of A&R Katie Fagan, alongside A&Rs Chris Martignago and Christian Conant.
Sharing his enthusiasm about the partnership, Anderson East commented, “I’m thrilled to be collaborating with the talented and forward-thinking team at Prescription Songs. Their ability to push boundaries while still valuing a well-crafted song is truly unique and exciting.”

Chris Martignago, A&R at Prescription Songs, shared his first impression of Anderson, saying, “I first met Anderson at one of his shows at the Troubadour in LA. His passion for music and people is infectious, and it’s this same energy that makes him an exceptional writer and producer.”
A&R Christian Conant added, “I’ve been a fan of Anderson since his Delilah LP came out in 2015. Working with him now feels incredibly special. This new phase for Anderson East, a Nashville-based artist originally from Alabama, will include a new album. Currently in production with longtime collaborator and producer Dave Cobb, the album is set to release later this year.
Anderson’s last album, Maybe We Never Die (Elektra/Low Country Sound), featured the Top 20 AAA radio single “Madelyn.” His 2018 breakthrough album, Encore, included the Grammy-nominated #1 AAA radio single “All On My Mind,” co-written with Ed Sheeran.
On the live music front, Anderson has toured with Brandi Carlile, The Revivalists, and Chris Stapleton, among others, and performed at major festivals like ACL, Lollapalooza, Stagecoach, Forecastle, Bottle Rock, Byron Blues, Mtn Jam, and Pilgrimage Festival.
