Rising Star in Dance Music Collaborates with Tiësto, John Summit, and Dillon Francis
Independent publishing powerhouse Prescription Songs is proud to announce its latest signing, artist-songwriter-vocalist Hayley May. Introduced to the company by Prescription Songs A&R Cameron Kooklanfar, May has gained recognition for her soulful vocals and powerful songwriting.
Her impressive collaborations with dance music giants like Tiësto, John Summit, and Dillon Francis have quickly established her as a prominent figure in the industry.
Originally from Yorkshire and now based in London, Hayley made the leap into the music industry in 2019, leaving her full-time job to chase her passion.
Her signature blend of Motown, soul, and R&B influences, drawn from legends like Prince, Lauryn Hill, and Al Green, has allowed her to carve a unique space in the dance music world. With over 200 million streams on Spotify, her distinctive voice resonates globally.
Hayley’s breakthrough came when she featured on Joel Corry’s double-platinum hit “Sorry,” which peaked at #6 on the UK Singles Chart. Since then, she’s lent her talent to several major releases, including Gorgon City’s lead single “Never Let Me Down” from their album Olympia.
She’s also collaborated with Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Sonny Fodera, Cheatcodes, and many others, and continues to work with top-tier producers like David Guetta and Lost Frequencies.
Recently, her second solo single “Want U” has amassed nearly 10 million streams, signaling even greater things to come.
