FOLLOWED GLOBALLY SUCCESSFUL TRACKS “GOAT” & “BON”
TRIO’S DEBUT ALBUM NO.I RELEASED ON SEPTEMBER 23
Quickly gaining a large and passionate following in their native Japan, the country’s music sensation Number_i had dazzled fans across the world.
The trio—Sho Hirano (27), Yuta Jinguji (26), and Yuta Kishi (28)—had announced their debut album No.I (pronounced “Number One”), which was released on September 23.
Before the album’s release, the group dropped their latest single, the hard-hitting “INZM,” on August 19. The track was produced by group member Yuta Jinguji.

The trio made their US debut in April when they appeared as special guests at Coachella on the 88rising Futures stage. After their festival performance, their song “GOAT” reached #10 on the US iTunes overall chart and #3 on the Hip-Hop chart, generating significant industry buzz.
The music video hit 10 million views within three days of release and reached global #1 on YouTube’s daily music video ranking by January 3, 2024. The song also topped the Billboard Japan comprehensive Hot 100 chart.
As of now, “GOAT” had over 46 million streams on Spotify, and its video crossed the 65 million views mark. In an interview with Zach Sang, Yuta Jinguji shared that the song aimed to inspire listeners to be the greatest of all time.
Earlier in the year, Number_i released their mini-album No.O -ring- (pronounced “Numbering”), which debuted at #1 on the Billboard Japan Hot Albums chart in its first week.
The Sho Hirano-produced lead track “BON” surpassed 10 million views within two days of its release, peaking at #2 globally on YouTube’s daily music video ranking and landing #2 on the Japan Hot 100 chart. Today, the “BON” music video has over 38 million views on YouTube.
Beyond streaming and chart success, Sho Hirano, Yuta Jinguji, and Yuta Kishi graced the covers of prominent magazines in Japan, including Newsweek Japan, Elle Japan, Vogue Japan, GQ Japan, and Nylon Japan.
They were also featured in Highsnobiety Japan, MAPS Japan, MAPS Korea, Numero TOKYO, 25ans, The Fashion Post, and more.
