European Tour with Front Line Assembly Announced

Full-Length Album Drama Set for October 4th Release, Co-Produced by Stabbing Westward’s Walter Flakus

(New York, NY) – Rising industrial darkwave artist I Ya Toyah premiered the video for her new track “Fraud” exclusively via ReGen Magazine. The high-energy video complements the dynamic track, which I Ya Toyah describes as “a dance-floor anthem with a dark twist.”

She adds that the song merges soft vocals, intense screams, synthwave, alt-rock, and dubstep to create a unique mix of infectious rhythms and profound lyrics—making it perfect for shaking off imposter syndrome.

“Fraud” will appear on I Ya Toyah’s upcoming album Drama, set to release on October 4th. The album is co-produced and mixed by Stabbing Westward’s Walter Flakus and includes both new material and tracks from her recently released EP I Am the Fire. Pre-orders for Drama are now available.

In addition to the album release, I Ya Toyah has announced a series of European tour dates in support of industrial legends Front Line Assembly. She will also perform at the Cold Waves Festival XII, a major darkwave event, on September 29th in her adopted hometown of Chicago at the Metro.

I Ya Toyah’s I Am the Fire EP, also produced and mixed by Walter Flakus, was released earlier this year to critical acclaim. ReGen Magazine hailed her as “a one-woman musical army” in the electro-industrial genre.

She recently completed a U.S. tour supporting Orgy and Cold, where she often joined Orgy on stage during their headline performances. Her live shows have been praised as “intriguing and hypnotic” by ZRockr Magazine, with Melodic Mag stating that she “captivated the audience” and “proved herself as a force to be reckoned with.”

More than just a musician, I Ya Toyah represents a movement. Her name, which translates from Polish to “It’s just me” and “I am who I am,” reflects her personal and artistic mission.

Since launching her career, the Chicago-based singer, songwriter, and guitarist has released several records, produced multiple music videos, and toured extensively across the United States—most recently with Stabbing Westward.

I Ya Toyah’s music blends industrial, electro, darkwave, pop, and alt-rock, serving as the backdrop for her intensely personal lyrics. Her versatile, powerful voice brings a modern and relatable edge to her music, speaking to the anxieties and struggles of everyday life.

She also embraces collaboration, working with prominent figures in the industrial scene, including Raymond Watts (PIG, KMFDM), Julian Beeston (Nitzer Ebb), Rhys Fulber (Front Line Assembly, Delerium), Tim Skold (Marilyn Manson, Motionless in White), and Phil Owen (Skatenigs). Her collaboration with Stabbing Westward on the remix of “Pray” quickly topped the Industrial Electronic charts on Bandcamp.

Additionally, I Ya Toyah is a member of The Joy Thieves, a collective of over 50 musicians, including those who have worked with Ministry, Depeche Mode, Nine Inch Nails, and more.

Passionate about mental health and animal rights, I Ya Toyah donates 15% of her music and merchandise sales to organizations such as the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention and the Animal Hope and Wellness Foundation.

She recently contributed to a recording of The Beatles’ “Come Together” to support Ukraine, alongside artists from Faith No More, Stabbing Westward, Ministry, and others. The project was arranged by legendary producer John Fryer.
