Los Angeles, CA – Iranian-American singer-songwriter Sanaz is preparing to unveil her highly anticipated debut EP Chapters on October 10th, 2024.

The standout single, Just Another Chapter, captures the raw emotions of a painful breakup. Initially written as a melancholic ballad, the song evolved into a hopeful anthem for letting go and moving forward. Sanaz describes this song as a culmination of the EP’s essence—bittersweet yet empowering.
“When I first brought ‘Just Another Chapter’ to the studio, I thought it would be a sad breakup song,” Sanaz explains.
“But my producer gave it an entirely new energy, transforming it into an anthem for moving on. Now, instead of just feeling the sadness, people can sing along and dance, celebrating the close of one chapter and the start of a new one.”
The song’s imagery, like wilted petals and faded memories, symbolizes a once-thriving relationship that has since lost its spark.
“I wanted ‘Just Another Chapter’ to strike that balance between sadness and strength,” Sanaz reflects. “It’s about finding the power to close a chapter and move on.”
Meet Sanaz:
Based in Los Angeles, Sanaz is an Iranian-American singer-songwriter whose music blends pop with cultural depth and personal storytelling. Starting her career as a classically trained opera singer, Sanaz has since transitioned to a pop artist with a rich, organic sound.
Sanaz’s background includes performing at Carnegie Hall with a professional acapella group, giving her a deep understanding of vocal artistry.
Her music blends these classical influences with pop sensibilities, creating compositions filled with authentic emotion and cultural resonance.
One of her most notable projects, In The Name Of God, supports human rights in Iran. This song earned international recognition, featured on Iranian International TV and Spotify’s “Women of Iran” playlist.
