Three Chord Bourbon and The Allman Brothers Band Unite for 2024 Backstage Series Bourbon Release

A PERFECT HARMONY OF CRAFT AND MUSICAL HERITAGE WITH A TOASTED PEACH WOOD FINISH

Three Chord Bourbon, known for its award-winning blends, unique cask finishes, and commitment to supporting the music community, proudly announced the release of its 2024 Backstage Series.

This year’s edition featured a special collaboration with the iconic Allman Brothers Band, offering a blend of straight bourbon whiskey finished with toasted peach wood.

The collaboration originated in late 2022, when the Allman Brothers Band family sought to merge their musical legacy with a new audience while contributing to the music community.

Inspired by the band’s legendary Eat a Peach album, every detail of the limited-edition bourbon was crafted collaboratively—right down to the custom toasted peach wood finish, which enhanced the bourbon with a subtle sweetness and a hint of smoke.

“If you loved whiskey, you dug our collaboration with Three Chord Bourbon. It celebrated our legacy. Far out, man. The Road Goes on Forever,” said Jaimoe, a founding member of the Allman Brothers Band.

Ari Sussman, whiskey maker at Three Chord Bourbon, expressed his excitement about the project: “The Allman Brothers Band’s music had been a part of my life for as long as I could remember.

Creating this whiskey with them was an incredible experience. We set out to capture bold, distinct flavors and tie in elements of the band’s essence.”

The bourbon showcased a warm amber hue with red and brown undertones. On the nose, it offered notes of spice, vanilla, toasted wood, and caramel.

The taste was smooth and sweet, with the toasted peach wood adding depth. The finish was long and balanced, with lingering notes of spice, caramel, and sweetness.

“We couldn’t have been more thrilled to work with the Allman Brothers Band on this special edition,” said Neil Giraldo, founder of Three Chord Bourbon.

“This bourbon was a tribute to the art of blending and finishing, capturing the spirit of their music while offering a unique flavor profile.”

Fans had the opportunity to pre-order bottles online, with the 2024 Backstage Series Bourbon available at select retailers later in the year.
