LA-based melodic techno artist Robot Sunrise has just released his captivating new single, “Take Me,” available now on all streaming platforms.
Alongside the release, he’s gearing up for the premiere of The Robot Sunrise Experience, a live, multi-sensory techno performance happening on Saturday, November 9, in Downtown Los Angeles. Tickets are available now.

“‘Take Me’ started with a melody that literally woke me up from a dream. I rushed to the piano and recorded it before it slipped away.
From there, I added the beat, bass line, and turned the piano into MIDI to shape the main arpeggio. It all came together so quickly.
For me, the track represents pure freedom and true self-expression,” explains Robot Sunrise.
Robot Sunrise is the solo project of producer, DJ, and multi-instrumentalist Danny Klein, who is rapidly establishing himself as a standout voice in the melodic techno scene.
A veteran of LA’s underground house and techno circles, Klein previously made waves as one half of the electronic duo Dreamfreak, releasing music through the renowned dance label Astralwerks.
Klein’s musical pedigree includes collaborations with GRAMMY-winning artist Really Doe and GRAMMY-nominated Télépopmusik. Now, as Robot Sunrise, he’s evolving his artistic vision into a narrative-driven, multidimensional project, centered on themes of liberation, equality, and peace.
To further this mission, a portion of all his profits is donated to the Human Rights Foundation, translating his music’s message into real-world impact for oppressed people worldwide.
Earlier this year, Robot Sunrise gave fans a taste of his distinctive, uplifting techno with the release of “London Public WiFi (Robbie Rivera Remix),” the debut release from SPIN Records.
This track marked the second collaboration between Robot Sunrise and UK chart-topper Rivera in 2024, with Rivera bringing his signature touch to the original.
“Take Me,” the newest release from Robot Sunrise, is an ethereal, spacious track that blends celestial soundscapes with melodic techno.
Originating from a dream, the track offers a flowing, dreamlike experience that is perfect for both the dance floor and personal listening. It opens with a sweeping riser before diving into a four-on-the-floor beat, enhanced by futuristic synths, crisp hi-hats, and haunting pads.
The introspective piano melody builds to a mesmerizing vocal hook, where Robot Sunrise sings, “Take me, where there is nothing/Take me, to the stars,” against a mystical, grooving instrumental backdrop.
In addition to the new single, Robot Sunrise has announced The Robot Sunrise Experience, an immersive live performance on November 9 at the Porter St Community Center in DTLA.
This one-night-only event will feature orchestral accompaniment, interpretive dance, and experiential elements, all tied into a captivating storyline that expands the Robot Sunrise narrative. The evening will also include DJ sets from special guests Bright Lights, Little Dinosaur, and Mikey Made.

Robot Sunrise’s recent live performances include a set at Burning Man, where he took festival-goers on a 90-minute melodic techno journey, and the debut of Off The Grid Campout Austin, a precursor to his upcoming set at the SoCal edition of the festival.
Off The Grid Campout is an annual underground electronic music festival held in the Mojave Desert, organized by True Entertainment, whose management division, True Management, now represents Robot Sunrise.
