Intimate NYC Headlining Show Announced for September 25 at The Cutting Room

(New York, NY) – Grammy Award winner and Emmy- and three-time Tony Award-nominated actor, singer, and producer Brandon Victor Dixon has released his new video/single, “Hotel California,” out now via BVD Records. [Watch here] and [listen here].

Dixon’s elegant, soulful rendition of The Eagles’ classic features his signature smooth vocals, supported by lush orchestral strings, a gospel choir, and full band instrumentation. Speaking about the inspiration behind the recording, Dixon recalled:

“’Hotel California’ is one of the first rock songs I fell for. My father used to drop me off at school every morning while listening to Imus in the Morning. One day it came on, and as he turned it up, I put my book down and we kept bopping together.

I’ve loved it ever since. When I heard Kaveh Rastegar’s arrangement, I just had to record it in homage to that memory. With Michael Valerio’s cinematic strings, I think we managed to capture its mystique and grandeur.”

“Hotel California” is taken from Dixon’s forthcoming solo album, scheduled for release in early 2026.

In addition, Dixon has announced an intimate headlining concert at The Cutting Room in New York City on Thursday, September 25th. [Tickets available here].
